The road to Bogus Basin, near Boise, is lots-o-fun. It’s a winding, paved road that takes about 30 minutes from base to summit.
Once at the top, you have many options; If you were just looking for a quick trip after work, you can head back down and be home in time for dinner. Better still, there are many primitive road options that connect you to countless destinations north and east. (Boise Ridge, Mores Mountain)
Primitive camping is available on the backside of Bogus Basin.
It’s a fairly popular destination year round. You’re likely to see other bikes/cars.
